Remagen revisited

Post by hogleg »

Remagen revisited as a single player level. A whole new look and feel to a classic MP map.
The first in the series of seven, next will be the Destroyed Village, which will have much better AI and multiple objectives.

Im only releasing this one untill the others are complete which will be bundle as one mission.

i'm going to give it a shot in about an hour but lest you forget dear hog-o; the word ''series'' in reference to a group of mod maps has been copyrighted by myself. i'll have a review in a bit, sir.

review:

believable mission. loved the lighting and the ''atmosphere''. the first ''stage'' of AI were well placed , took me forever to find ''that one guy'' (you know who i'm talking about, hog; nice placement you a-hole lol). loved the guy with the zuke. thought, 'oh that guy must have a sniper rifle because i didn't hear a shot and yet i saw a puff of smoke and...wait a minute...PUFF OF SMOKE ?!!! OH F*** ! " . the motorcycles where hard to get around, seemed like the barrier was the square shape of the model area itself.

the second round of AI seem sparce.

gameplay first stage : 9
gamplay second stage : 6
AI : 8
map : n/a
lighting : 8
overall : 31/40
i'm not f****** angry, i'm from philadelphia .

Yeah I'd planned on more AI in the back but ran out of AI. lol
and that damn motorcycle trigger always sticks out for some reason.
I did spend a lot of time tweaking the lighting.
but...thx :)
the next one will be much better.

Thanks alexDOK, I'm working on the The Crossroads. Kind of lost interest for a while but I'm back with plans to finish it. Its going to have 3 objectives and a driving truck. Spawning AI as well.

Cheers
