is having your mod on mohaafiles.com worth it ?

Post by PKM »

medalofhonor.filefront.com is what i'm talking about. exposure is nice but jeezuz the children run rampant on there. the mods (moderators) are just as bad. the front page with listings of the files and news is ok, if the kids want to yell at each other about each other's files, fine but the forums.......if a moderator doesn't agree with your answer, he loses his mind.

just curious before i go and get exiled from another site. btw, i can't stop laughing at that axis assault FO mod. complete POS.

would i be PKM if i wasn't brutally honest ? i get that reaction (that's harsh (but true)) from so many people down here in texas (and anywhere not north eastern US) but that's how we grew up back in the homeland (philly) and to think , i was the quiet one.

even more hilarious is the title of one of their threads concerns '' 1000+ downloads of the axis assault mod !" yet if you look at the poll, 50% won't touch it, 37% might and only 12% like it. i'd love to go off on where these guys are from* but.........i'll refrain other than to say if french fries were made this bad, you'd be eating beets with your cheeseburgers .

i find myself constantly checking their site and the mohaafiles comments section to see what new "we bring this mod from the hands of God" comments they're going to post. shutting down the comments section for that poll was the best thing the admin there did.

more coffee PKM ?

hell yeah.

*before you go pegging me as a klan member, they're freakin' french and that doesn't count. besides, i'm philly irish and we're so low on the alleged 'race totem pole' even the eskimos hate us. can a mic get a "damn? cinnte ! " ?!

Well, the core team consisted of like, 6 or 7 guys, the rest were just people that contributed random skins (that IMHO were quite crappy and shouldn't really become a part of the mod). I was responsible for skinning, modeling and some UI assets only. ;)

<EDIT>Oh, are you asking me how old I was? Well, I joined the team when I was 12 and worked for the Airport Assault, CNF was released when I was 13. Why are you asking? ;)</EDIT>

Heh, that's partly true, Splaetos, as I was having a very lonely summer - spent 2 months at home with all my friends gone, I had to do something. ;)
