I've got two problems generally related to the same thing.
I'm adding teammates to all of the Allied Assault single player levels. On levels that were given allies by default, the added teammates will use the voices of the default allies. On the second level (that has Major Grillo on it), any allies I add (even US soldiers) will sound like Major Grillo. On levels with no allies on them at all, which are plentiful, the allies will try, but they won't make any sound and I'll get errors along the lines of:
NameOfSoundHere needs an alias in ubersound.scr or uberdialog.scrThe sounds do have aliases in uberdialog.scr, so I can't quite figure out the problem. In the one level of Breakthrough that has no teammates on it, the allies I used (Major Grillo and Claus Knefler) just used the voices of basic soldiers. This is probably because Spearhead and Breakthrough were given a different voice "system" to adjust to multiple Allied countries on single levels.
How can I add Allied voices to levels on the original Allied Assault single player maps?
JV_Bots are great because their AI is based on the AI used in single player maps, but this means they want to talk. Like the above problem, they won't make any sound and I'll get the same error about no alias for the dialogue. After a lot of struggling, I've decided that I have no idea how to make them talk.
How can I get JV_Bots to talk?
