i didnt think you could do blacklights, i remember asking that when i was messing with shading brushes and such.

I'm not sure what neillomax is talking about, but black light and no light are not the same thing. If you give a point light an RGB (red, green, blue) value of zero, the light will be off. It wont shine a black spot on the wall.

Yes, you can turn an entity black. But he wants to be able to see through it and dark glass is probably his only option.
