Hmm. Interesting. Where's the list of supported games?

that sucks... that card is only for some little extra effects... a cpu could also do that i think. Maybe something for dualcore...

well, think it's better to integrate it in the graphicscard... safes space and some money.

Yeah, the CPU could do that, but this saves a bit of workload. And in engines with advanced physics like Havoc this really matters.

One application for this that I see are the dynamic geometry engines (like Red Faction), with fully interactive environments, where you can destroy walls and all kinds of stuff.

Oh, THAT'S what the card does! Has enough power to render all of that object movement, right? Pretty impressive, but still really expensive...

actually thats sort of the World Emulator theory, basically that man will tire of living in the real world, potentially after some world-shattering event like a nuke war or something, and will create a computerized utopia for themselves, machines would handle breeding for the human race and plugging the people into the Emulator, somewhat like hte Matrix, if you've seen it. eventually, of course, man would become extinct because of a mechanical failure with the rebirth systems and the digital world they built would live on, maybe making more worlds in itself. (as part of the civilizations in the Emulator wanting their own Emulator)

some say that's what we are, part of an abandoned Emulator.

crazy theory huh? would explain a lot, though.
