i still cant export the helmet but i exported a weapon but the textures dont seem to be on it do i have to put textures on b4 i export if so how ?

Yes the textures need to be on the model before you export it.

Check out the Milkshape site for tutorials on skinning a model.
There are several there.

also the weapon i exported ony made 2 file tik and skb

You need to put the texture on the model before you export it.

When it's exported you will have a .TIK, .SKB, .SHADER and the texture file 9either a .JPG or .TGA) in the 3 Milkshape created in your MOHAA directory.

If the model exported without the .SHADER and .JPG/.TGA files then
you need to apply the texture in Milkshape before you export it.

Read the milkshape skinning tutorials to learn how to texture your model.

Using Milkshape and the SKB exporter I've converted RTCW models for use in the map I'm working on at the moment.

kool ive read some tut'sand they only helped a lil bit
i need to no how to put it in game how to make it replace a weapon

If you mean as a usable alternative to say an smg then I don't know how to do that...I've only ever done static models.

There are many on here who could point you in the right direction though.

ok i got the helmet to export thanks for all your help i cant seem to find the face skins dfor the german do you no where they are witch pk3 they r un ? and if you culd tell me who knows how to replace a weapon with a new one and shuldent there be a skc/skd file exported with it

I cannot see the weapon too well but, it looks as if the skeleton(skd) you rep-laced is still there, thus conflicting.......

i didnt get the weapons yet just working on textures i got the sgc weapons done though just not goauld
