trigger hurt problem

Post by neillomax »

This is for mapping........ NOT scripting

Trigger_hurt............ should work without script, no ? It automatically takes 10 health by default. Compile map, but it won't work .

Tried damagetype/fire, still no hurt.

This is mohaa tools, not sdk.

Just make a trigger_multiple and add the key/value
key:volumedamage
value:5//the higher the number the more health it takes away

trigger_hurt doesnt work in MOHAA, Read this post

Then there might be another problem with your map,
Take all mods and custom maps out of your main folder, Besides the one your working on.

Nothing in there. Clean computer. For mapping work only. 1 map at a time.

I had the trigger_multipleall working...... sounded like explosion in multiple explosions... player died when on trigger for a tenth of a second.... need fire death. Tried to exe the firedeath.scr. but that didn't do it either. Will try editing the dm/pre script when I get to it, to see if that helps.

Tried // the global script for it, but that didn't work. Gonna quit for a while.

There has top be a way to do it, but it's already 12:30, and if I don't get out of the house today, I,m gonna lose it......lol

So, If trigger_multipleall worked, Why wouldnt trigger_multiple work?
Maybe delete it and re do it?

I don't know why it didn't work. I deleted and re-did the trigger, and set different "volumedamages" to it, and tried different key/value, this and that........ still, no go.

I opened up a script for banhoff a little while ago. In there I had a script for "hurt". If I can't get the volumedamage to work, I'll just script it in.

Didn't want to do it that way though. Just wanted it done in radiant.
