Reskinning smoke nades

I have the smoke nades reskinned and It doesnt show up when I put it in a pk3 in the mainta folder... I have everything in the right place

Is there anything else I have to do to make it switch places with the smoke nade skin thats already there?

Make sure the pk3's name begins with a letter farther than P (e.g. r, s, t, u etc.). Paks are loaded alphabetically and custom ones have to be loaded after the stock stuff.

Make sure the paths inside it are correct then.

Everythings in the right spot.... It just doesnt make any sense..

Anyone have any Ideas?

i'm not sure what the difference is, but some skins require texture compression to be on and some dont. i dont have much experience in shaders and such so i cant tell you for certain but try turning it on and off.

make sure you named all the skins correctly and that the paths match that in the shader... other than that...

Check the name of the shaders. If they are similar to the ones on the game it will have problems reading them ... I think.
