i've become a big fan of urban games/maps... they're totally unique from anything else you can shoot in. starting to take shape PKM, keep at it!
heres a couple tips..
everyone loves rootop fights. we're at ground level almost our entire lives and a good scene on a rooftop makes a good feel, so decorate them with vents / sheds / gardens / utility shacks etc.
roadsigns.
more dirt and grime! no street is compleetly leet without newspapers, abandoned flyers, general dirt and spilled materials.
and of course make the occasional curbside boombox.
snake, you're going to have to spell it out for me also.
lz-k; all my urban maps have rooftop access, this one more so than others. the grime i've thought of and may create a texture/decal instead of ''dirtying up textues allready existings'', this way i can randomly place grime/dirt where i want .
you should recognize the ambient light color rook , it's the same values for megapole. got real tired of creating/finding just the right skybox that was dark enough so what i'm doing is simply using textures/common/black and adding lights (@1000 value) behind the taller buildings in the commercial part of the city to give the illusion of light pollution/skyline.
business district/center city skyline
urban/resedential skyline
