I'm back!

Post by Rookie One.pl »

I've been away for 9 days and now am back. I went for a camp and it was AWESOME! :D I was doing horse riding, rock climbing, archery, shooting with pneumatic guns (should've seen my results! I've earned myself a nickname 'Sniper'! I didn't even know I can shoot that good :P) and loads of other cool stuff in Srebrna G?ra. It has a great atmosphere - you sleep in a tent in a fortress from the 18th century in the middle of the mountains:

And, most importantly, I finally had enough luck to get a good assortment of people - I'll really miss my campmates this time. :)

Ahem. That's it, I suppose. :) Just wanted to let you know I'm back. :P

"yea, i'll show you the area, follow me, so... this is my room, heres my bed. . . . . "

@Snake: Youngish? So all day drinking, going to strip clubs etc. is what 'mature' people do during holidays? No, thanks.

@Lizard: Not too bad. :) I had a quite good horizontal aim, but it's hard to get the right vertical angle. I always shot too high or too low. Still, I always hit the target. :)

Hey now,
not all camps are that bad... I went to one not to long ago for Civil Air Patrol We used REAL Guns live rounds AND it was the first time i had ever fired a weapon (real) and i ended up qualifying for Pro-Marksman through NRA. So not all are bad.http://cap.gov

only time i've ever shot was at pop cans with a .22 and a 387. yes. quite a difference. there wasnt much left after the 387.

i took archery for two years though, dropped out because of beauracracy. some people i shot with took national medals, one was second in the nation.

camps never appeal to me. i'm a geek, nothing interests me in staring at imprints in hte ground and oo'ing and ahh'ing over a pile of bear s**t. even ones like what you just went to would probably bore me.

now if they had a LANCAMP i'd be there.
