Im just about to finish my first map
Im about to create the loading screen. Im trying to create the .urc file, but when I save the urc file as .urc its doesnt change into urc but ; filename.urc.txt ...
Is there another way to this?

Uhm. If you use notepad as editor you should switch to "all files" when saving and put .urc instead of .txt.
You could just remove the .txt in your explorer too.

you could also just take the file you have, right click, click rename and just get rid of ''.txt'' .

File type swapping (for easy access to those files)
I always got kinda annoyed at having to kinda rename everything when i wanted to look at it; so try doing this. This example is done with pk3s, but works with anything (as long as you associate with the right file type)
Vaguely random, but i thought it may be appreciated
