Ok I removed the numbers after the snapshot name and it worked. But the snapshot was taken 12 hours before last time I closed the Radient... :( So I gotta rebuilt everyrhing Ive lost...
You should try physically saving the map under different names as...
Yes, neillomax, that sound as a good idea!
think the snapshots work just like the .bak (backup) file-- just change the extention to ".map".
Ok the .bak file is backup?? So whats the difference between the .bak and snapshot? And how do the .bak file work? -just changing it to .map?

Oh and another thing?

Ive been looking in some finished pk3 files and see no map file, but a bsp file...Is the bsp file taking over here?

The backup file is replaced when you save, the snapshots just keep being added when it automatically saves.

The .map file is what you make with the editor. It is used by the compilers to create the .bsp file that the game uses.

1. Entity 258 - duplicate planes mean this 12 brush entity was probably copied from another map. It can be fixed by using a plugin brush repair tool. http://pages.sbcglobal.net/tltrude/Temp/plugins.zip Just put the two files in a MOHAATools/plugins folder and you will see "plugins" on the menu. One will be for brush repair.
I?ve put the files in the plugin dir, but the plugin doesnt appear in Radient...

I?ve testet the pk3 file but its not look like the same as when I compiled last time. Its an earlier state. I have updated. Has is something to do with those errors?

You have unzip the file to the plugins folder in radiant, it doesn't read PK3s.

Have you looked at your latest map file with notepad? You could have a bad entry preventing it from loading, or a conflict with another custom pk3.

hold on, you can open a .map, .bak files with simple notepad. in fact if you right click and then opt for ''open with'' you'll see that notepad should be listed. select "choose program'' , click on notepad and then click the box that says ''always use the selected program to open this kind of file'' . your .map file icons should be notepad icons now .
i'm not f****** angry, i'm from philadelphia .
