Texture Problem

Post by SniperWolf »

I am having a texture problem, was wondering if you guys could help. When I started making my map I made a .pk3 with my custom textures & shader in it. I named it Sniper's.pk3. The folder structure was a s follows:

scripts(folder) -> snipers.shader(file)
textures(folder) -> snipers(folder) -> custom textures(files)
env -> sky textures(files)
models -> flags(folder) -> textures(files)

I decided to make the snipers folder the same name as the map(bootcamp) so when I make my map.pk3 everything is the same. When I did this I changed the .shader to refelect the bootcamp name.

Now all textures show up fine in Radient but when I complie & test the map this is what I get. Here i stood in the same spot just turn a tiny bit.

Good:

Then I turn & Get This:

Any ideas would be Great. I went through the map in Radient retexturing all my custom texutres just to make sure. I'm lost at this point. HELP PLEASE!!!

I will post my custom texture .pk3 if someone would like to look at it.

shader

If that doesn't work, copy and paste the text from the shader file that is not working. Folders or file names should never have spaces or ( ' ) in them.

From what I can see you just have 2 overlapping brushes and one of them is either not textured or the game can't find the texture. Look very closely and if this is the case, just remove the untextured one.
