Tallest people in the world

This got me wondering, i'm of Germanic/Irish descent and i'm taller than both parents and probably all my ancestors (6'3), what is it that makes humans grow so tall? in the 1600s people were considered giants if they broached 6'.

btw in metric 6' is about two meters.

6 feet = 182 cm, Lizard.

I'm 6'2" and I'm the tallest guy in my family, too.

I guess that's the result of well-being in general.

I'm the tallest at 6'2 at 18 years old and tallest. My mates bro is 6'3 and tallest in his family... hes only 15 aswell!!!!!

I manage to reach a healthy 6 foot or so... taller than most of the people here in bristol... my girlfriend is 5'4" - and she's average height for girls
