THE NEW ORLEAN SAINTS & THEIR FANS/PEOPLE OF NEW ORLEANS

good for you with last night's ''statement''. i was pulling for the saints to win , not because i'm a saints fan or because they were up against the overblown vick; simply because you people/americans deserved it. i was blown away by the score (checked in right before halftime) . that was a team i saw out there, maybe the best, most unselfish example of a team that i've ever seen after 38 years of watching football. mike freeman from cbssportsline.com couldn't have said it better when he noted that 'No team might have beaten the Saints on this night. Not the 1960s Green Bay Packers or the Joe Montana San Francisco 49ers. No team....a truly joyous and unforgettable night in which everyone, for a short time, was a Saints fan.

i know for a couple hours, i was . and coming from this yankee, that takes a lot. i'll add that last night, the saints were America's Team.

sidenote: while watching a report on reggie bush's pre pro career work with the survivors of katrina i became beyond enraged when i heard one survivor ask reggie (who was handing out boxes of food) if ''they had water this time''. a freakin' year later and some people/americans can't even get drinking water. lets see some of the politicians we voted to represent us, truly represent us by standing at the front of that line, the first to hand out not only food and water but trust and hope in our goverment.

I've been up to my eye balls in computers, I took over the pc repair dept and i got about a dozen pc's waitin on me as well as the led signs i normally fix.
these pc's are pretty cool, they run those flat screens in banks/offices that display company info, stock, cnn etc......

i was wondering why this thread was so dead, hog-o. this season has been the oddest i've ever seen. looks like one of those major changing of the guard seasons much like '93 . i'm so in love with EVERY sports critic, announcer, online guru, broadcaster, newscaster who are ALL backpedaling about my EAGLES (ie. eagles will be in last place as a rebuild team-everyone, mcnabb is one of the NFL's great QBs-walking retard troy aikman...NOW: eagles are the team to beat in the nfc east..) Oct. 8th bub; figure next tuesday to be betting day between you and i . although i'm concerned about our two ''fresh'' cornerbacks VS a possible no show TO. i believe no matter how bad 2 f***s up in the game at Tenn, parcells will bow down and still play him at the linc.

no one's picking up the rub here from the dallas police.
they (the dallas police department) state ''...there is no investigation by the dallas police department..'' and with this, the media is freaking since they originally stated they were responding to a possible suicide attempt.

here's the rub: it's not a criminal act to attempt to commit suicide in dallas so therefore, yes, there would be no investigation. doesn't mean he didn't attempt it, just means they have no reason to investigate it.

another note: doesn't look good how they keep changing 2's scheduled press conference. first it was to be at 12:30CT, so i switched to espn @ 12:30CT. within less than two minutes they switched the times from 1:15CT to 2:15CT.
