Extreme Help Needed In Modeling!!!

Post by {†F.E.A.R.†}®Jack Bauer »

The thing me and my newly formed mapping/skinning/moding team are having trouble with is modeling/placing static objects in a map.

The first thing I need to know is how to export as a skd or skc in milkshape (or what format does the object have to be in)
Is there any plugins or stuff in missing?!?!?

Secondly, I need to know how to place the completed static object in a map. previously i used this method-

Code: Select all

local.static = spawn script_model
	local.static model "vehicles/opeltruckgreen_canopy.tik"
	local.static.origin = ( 573.58 -1311.96 30.81 )
	local.static.angles = ( 17.16 69.50 0.00 )
	local.static solid

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I dont think posting the same over and over again actually gets you any further...
Anyway, I'd say it would be much easier to put models in your map in radiant - unless you're modifying stock maps :) .

Milkshape is good for static models.
If you want to export skc or animations you'll need LightRay 3d.
