Homepage Stats

Hi,
Me and a mate are working on our Homepage that we are using for our Clan.
We are also hosting a couple of servers on an Linux Server.

So, what we want to do is on the homepage have something that tells if our servers are Offline or Online. But we havent figured out a way to do this yet.
Does anyone have any suggesions how to do that?

It would also be fun to have more advanced stuff, like whos playing scores and so on, but first of all we just want the info if a server is online or offline.

Does anyone of you know how to do this? Are there a Script or Program somewhere that lets us do this?

Any language that supports UDP clients will do. Use it to send either a GameSpy or Quake III query to the server (I suggest the Q3 one though; read more on that at http://dev.kquery.com/).

I tried to do an "UDP Ping" but that dient work, cause it says that the server is online as long as the UDP port is open :\

But i\ll check out the pages
