Low cost / high tech xmas gifts

Post by tltrude »

Please post your ideas for high tech Christmas gifts -- under $100. Here is one that I found.

Mood Light - Egg - Touch Control

Image

Using advanced LED technology, this Mood Light can illuminate a space in any color you choose. A touch control allows you to set the color, or make it randomly change by itself. The Egg is made of mouth-blown, satin finish glass. It has rechargeable batteries, allowing it to glow continuously for up to eight hours with no wires. SIZE: Diameter 8.25?(206 mm) x Height 12.25?(311 mm).

I've seen the price as high as $150 dollars, but the above web site sells it for under $60.

Binary clock, checks in at $20.00 USD. Difficult at first but once you hang it it's actually pretty cool.

Wow, that sure is a good site for low cost / high tech gifts, lizardkid!

Blue LED Faucet Light

It uses G13-A style watch batteries, but the light only comes on when the water is flowing. Fits most standard faucets in the USA, and its only $15 bucks -- two sets of batteries included.
