Light through walls?

Post by Caboom »

Does anyone know how to fix this? All of the brushes touch eachother so the light shouldn't come through.

Did you miter the brushes and make use that none of the inside brushes go past the outside brushes . Maybe make your floor totally inside of the walls , make the walls go down to the bottom edge of the floor , have the floor inside of the walls and miter the corners of the walls .

it's funny bd, i'll miter my walls wherever they meet and always bring my floor inside the room (ie inbetween all four walls) and will still get that leak.

Try the other way around (i.e. the floor out of the room).

OMG, PKM. Your way it draws more of the walls than it should, my way it draws more of the floor. Floor is just 1 face. Do the math. ;) Plus, FFS, it doesn't make it any different for the engine to draw an additional 8 units of a wall. Relax. ;)

I'll try texturing the opposite side maybe that will work... I'll look, I think the walls are mitered and the floors are flush to the walls.
