Post by bdbodger »

Any one know of a way to switch cameras back to the player without using cueplayer ? I have 2 players watching different cameras at the same time and need to be able to stop one but not the other . I can do it but not how I want since I have been useing cueplayer and it is buggy .

I believe you can do this by bluntly removing the camera but I'm not sure if it's any less buggy... :?

cueplayer ( [Float switchTime] )

Go back to the normal camera. If switchTime is specified,
then the camera will switch over that length of time.

Maybe you can use a "waitframe" variable for the switch time. Also, have you looked at, "Class/Listener/CameraManager"? It has a lot of "camera path" type commands.

Well I couldn't find a good way of doing it so I am going to just spawn and remove the cameas as needed . It was just too buggy trying to get the player off of a camera or even to switch cameras without effecting a camera used by another player . It is an important part of this mod so I'll just have to make a few changes .
