I realize this is a little off topic but I had to atleast let you guys know my intentions and it had to do with mapping. I'm not some dipshit who fools around with Medal of Honor. I spenda lot of time with this because programming and designing is going to be my profession.
I realize my first map had many mistakes, but a lot of people liked it. The next one will be a VAST improvement, because I am BEEFING it up and playtesting it into the ground first.
I really want to make friends here. Some people told me this site was full of a-holes and not to bother. But I like you guys. My mapping will get better over the next few weeks. I hope you like the madness I am creating when it's done.
The REAL question, rox, is: Who revealed that we are assholes? I thought we made such a good job of hiding it? What tipped them of? The xs-ive use of the icon?
Quite a few actually, but don't get mad at me because I dont reveal their names. Anyway I might as well use this post to show you that I have learned a lot. The plane must be either 4 inches big or the net behind the plane is like 1000 feet tall. So which one is it? Or is there a bigger picture im supposed to see

Well Gen Cobra, my interpretation of that picture ( and the reason I find it wierd ) is that an aeroplane is flying under a HUGE construction made ftom sections of a cone, textured with general_industrial/deckgrate_set1a... and that looks a bit wierd... or? Enlighten me man!

Actually you don't know your textures, it's rembridge_cross and idustrial beam for say something .....industial. Not a grate. Like a massive dome. And by the way who cares? I just thought I'd show you guys that I learned how to script a plane. This is what they were talking about. Why even post and answer like that? Constructive answers are great but pointless ones aren't.
I made a dome and I test everything I learn under it for a place to test scripting ideas. Just a POINTLESS parody. I'm not an a-hole really. Thanks for the responses, sorry to get worked up.
We try and run a good clean site around here unlike a certain other site - The good thing is that this site, while containing the 2nd biggest collection of tuts on the web (the other ones in German ) its still relatively small, so we don't get all the f**kwitts that aa.com/pmoh get...we want to keep it that way so we operate a 3 strike and your out system...if you feel someone has been abusive towards you or someone else please let any of the moderators know and they will try and deal with it...we don't want to ban anyone but we will to keep this site friendly - this should really be in the forum rules...oh well
That's why I say A-hole instead of.. well. And I don't direct it towards anyone either. I just feel that this place should be a place for learning not abusive language and ignorance. Not everyone is a masta-mapper. So us peons (errr me i guess)need a place to learn from the rooks of the game. That is the reason I am here.
You guys seem to have a handle on things, that is why I pay close attention. 8)
