Is this error referring to the can't find texture? - how do i find the tga in loadtga error.

the textures are all stock

If it were me, I'd go to the editor and search for "central_europe/trim2" -- in Edit > Find/Replace Texture. Replace it with "common/caulk".

Yes the trim2 is borked.. I believe this happens when the shader references a file with .jpg when only a .tga exists.. or the tga is 32-bit when it should be 24-bit ... or something like that :?

Thanks, I found the problem. It wasnt the trim2 - though i could never find it in any search for texture.

I ended up making a grid of brushes about 180 and texturing each brush with each texture in the editor. I copied them to a new file and then by process of elimination I kept breaking them in half making sure to find the successful compile and removing those brushes and repeating till one left.

the one left was a spearhead texture.
