Some updates..

Apparently it's an asian guy who came in with a .22 cal and 9mm (at least) and went door-to-door. He was in US since November; so he couldnt legally get the guns.
intriguing to say the least. Terrorism?

The stories coming out are mixed some say two gunmen, some say just one.
Apparently Asian but thats no reason to suspect terrorism, 11 year old kids have been known to do this sort of thing and they cant legally own guns either, I find America stupid you cant drink till your 21 but you can own a gun at 18, what sort of logic is that.
The mysteries specific to the Virginia tech situation is.
1: Why - there are suggestions of attempts to kill the person his girl freind was having a sort of affair with.
2: How - the shootings were 2 hours and a mile apart how did the second turn into such a bloodbath, shouldn't it have ended at the first.
3: Bombs? - A lot of people now believe the two bomb scares in the last ten days in Virginia tech may have been the doing of the gunman.

They've identified him now, Cho Seung-hui. A senior in university about to graduate. Definitely not an international matter; he moved here when he was 8. Not sure why they reported he had a South Korean student visa that said he was only here since November. Clerical error, maybe.
Whatever made him snap, he snapped very efficiently. They've said they found a note on him describing it all; but havent released it.

Immortality
Its plain to see why he did it. He wanted CNN, and idiots like you guys, to give his pathetic life meaning. Congratulations, you're helping to make him immortal -- at least in the minds of all those future Crazed Gunmen!
None of this is new, remember The Texas Tower Sniper?
"Americans are virtually unshockable. When we hear of the latest workplace shooting, the latest school shooting, the latest loner who snapped and took others with him to his final rest, we are saddened, certainly, but not shocked. It has happened so often that we?ve long since lost count of the shooters and the victims, long since forgotten which towns bear the indelible marks of random violence. So it is difficult for us to understand the horror to which Americans were introduced by Charles Whitman on August 1, 1966."
They now charge five dollars a head to tour the University of Texas Tower in Austin Texas, and he only killed 16 people!

Sorry, maybe I should of said, "...idiots like us!"
