MOHradient acting strange...

Post by Liberator »

Hi Mates,

My MOHradient is now acting strange...

When activating the bsp_ALL(fast), it kind a runs out 6 sec after starting it. I have done this a thousand times now.(The bsp file is about 7 mb). It is doing the same when using MBuilder. Unfortunately it does it with all my maps. Pretty strange!
Though it IS saving it to the .map file

I can't continue before it works again...and that is STRESSING!! ....

Anyone tried the same? -knows what to do....anything but reinstall Radient..

Lib :)

For MBuilder:

You can make seperate logs for all steps, or just the one you need. In Mbuilder, click on "change" and put the additional code lines after your compile options. The space and ">" symbol are important. The text file can have any name you wish.

-v > C:\Documents and Settings\tltrude\Desktop\log_bsp.txt

-v > C:\Documents and Settings\tltrude\Desktop\log_vis.txt

-final > C:\Documents and Settings\tltrude\Desktop\log_light.txt

I have them going to my desktop, so the logs can be trashed easily after looking them over. But, you can have the logs go to any folder you like. Also, when using these logs, the details of the compilers will not be seen in the DOS window.

Try with mbuilder a pause after each step and scan for errors that corrupt the compiling not completing the .bsp and reverting to whatever you had before.

I tried to make the log trick work but all three logs were empty. Well I found out that radient wrote : MAX_SURFACE_INFO in my bottom window. I'd never really focused on that window. So thats why it couldnt compile :)

Thanks

MAX_SURFACE_INFO
Yes too many shader files will stop a compile you will have to move some of your pk3's out of the mohaa directory at least until after you compile your map .
