Two Problems

Post by Baji »

First i would like to know to to put several player_start points.

Because I Made like 5 or 6 of them... But when I played with my friends online... only one worked... And we always started in the same point

Second ... i tried to make de Mountable Jeep... but It didnt work.

I did all that the tut says, my jeep doesnt have wheels, the AI is standing up on the pilot seat, the machinegun doesnt work.

I dont get it.

One thing, that could be the problem... is that I have never understand well how to make a .scr ... wich program could I use... or whatever.

make sure all your player spawns are the right ones... you need Death Match Spawns, Allied Spawns and Axis Spawns....

And .scr are just text files, open with notepad or you can edit them IN GAME by typing "editscript" in console and using Ctrl+S to save then type "restart" in console to test the latest saves .scr. Hope this helps. (can't comment on the jeep problem but its probs due to the fact you havnt set the .scr up right)

I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but try putting one info-player-start in the map.

what tool are you using ? and what game are you running ?

You can run your map without a script................. but, if you need to make one, use one of the " screen savers" from one of the original maps. In it, change everything to match your map and save it as yourmapname.scr. Put it in your dm folder or pk3 file with the bsp file.

If you can find some free space and post your pk3, I'm sure someone here will fix it for you.
