Snow Man

Post by mcunha98 »

Well, recently i lost all files relatives with mapping.
So, i start again the job of make models and put in maps (remember all is very hard). My "first" model is a snow man for a depot (my current work map).

Model in engine (using MilkShape plugins to export)

Milkshape its a "strange" tool, somethings like texture editor is very bad to understand and work. The model (for example) have 3 vertices not added to a group, i try many times, but dont obtain sucess to fix this problem...

Anyway, i will try many times to remember all and make a correct texture map for model...

Warning: i dont know the reason, but when i export the model and open in MohRadiant two groups is replaced (as if the body is the nose in engine, very crazy !?!)

A question :

Not is possible create an "unique" uvmap for all model in MilkShape ?
In this moment i use the creation of group (like head, arms, nose), but each group have all sides (left, top, ....) and with its i created many images (one for each group), not is possible make a real UVMAP for model ?

I search about the subject in websites and really the "unique" technique is use groups, in this thread of the game "The Sims" you see a "correct" uvmap of a body into a unique group, how ?

The thread:

The specific image in MilkShape:
