I made a arena style map for me and my nephew to play on for our lan server. Ionly put about 4 hours into making it so far which means it will most likely blow.

(THE MAP)
Its a 2 two arena map with gaurd towers at all four corners,
A rugged terrain area in the center of the map,
Its rectangular and there is a simple steel bridge going across the top part of the map (short ways),
At either end(long ways) there is a very well made steel incline walk way to the upper lvl of the map complete with siding for cover with a notch taken out of it most of the way up to the top to shoot out of.
And there are four top rooms that hang on the inside corners around the top of the map for sniping.
(The problem)
I want to make a serveral thin layers of fog over the map (one on top of the other)
The bottom layers i want to be very light. almost like not having any fog at all but enough to make the map look more unique.
This layer will cover most of the map.
Then on top of that layer about where the bridge starts i want a really thin but very dense layer of fog to provide cover while crossing the almost entirely open bridge. Because the bridge isnt like regular bridges you see on most map..... example
bridges like the one on bridge that bubble up..... and bridges like on the canal map that go flat across......
The bridge i made dips down. I want the fog to be a slight bit lower than the top lvl of the map so the map kinda runs unders the fog.
If it seems like I wrot alot more then I needed to or Didn't explain enough Im a fairly new mapper and only really make maps for me and my nephew to play on.

fog
Well, fog does not normally come in layers. It is added with "farplane" values in worldspawn or in the map's script. If you set the farplane close to the players, they will only be able to see a few yards. If you set it far away, the map will only have a little mist -- makes the map look more real.
You can also add smoke or steam effect entities to the map. But if the smoke is thick, or there are a lot of smoke emmitters, the game will slow down.
By the way, your screenshots are not working.
