Since I've started using the Spearhead SDK some sounds don't work when I test my map.
I've setup a disguise mission, but when the AI ask for papers their lips move but there isn't any sound. Same goes for my cardgame guys, they don't have any sound.
Anyone know why this is?
EDIT: Well, I copied my MOHAA Ubersound folder into my MOHAAS main folder (still have the MOHAAS one too) and that seemed to fix it.
Is there another way to dealing with this?

with Spearhead ubersound scripting works serverside, as long as the client has the sound. Also, its important that you don't call it ubersound - give it a unique name and only include in it the new sounds.
When i make a map pak I delelte any custom ubersound files that adopt the original ubersound file data.

By Spearhead scirpting do you mean a file in the ubersound directory ? I don't do Spearhead much I am not tatally sure what works serverside .Viper wrote:with Spearhead ubersound scripting works serverside, as long as the client has the sound. I use sounds on my spearhead server that are otherwise not cached in multiplayer maps. I do so with a custom Ubersound file on the server.
In Spearhead the alias scriptmaster does not work from the map script(though it does not cause errors either) It will only work from the ubersound folder. You have to be careful not to add to many sounds or you will experience frequent crash events.
