yeah i do, and have entered all locations, of mohaa exe, .map folder and the compiler dir.
try by closing the dos window after the light stage
i do without avail.

the mohaa console is constantly saying it cant find the bsp, its as if rad doesnt create it, even though i click on bsp_final

i think someone else in the clan has the same problem as well

Most likely, there is an error in your map that causes the compiler to fail. It will list the error in the dos window, but its hard to see, if you don't make a log.

For MBuilder:

You can make seperate logs for all steps, or just the one you need. In Mbuilder, click on "change" and put the additional code lines after your compile options. The space and ">" symbol are important. The text file can have any name you wish.

-v > C:\Documents and Settings\tltrude\Desktop\log_bsp.txt

-v > C:\Documents and Settings\tltrude\Desktop\log_vis.txt

-final > C:\Documents and Settings\tltrude\Desktop\log_light.txt

I have the logs going to my desktop -- so they can be trashed easily after looking them over. But, you can have the logs go to any folder you like. Also, when using these logs, the details of the compilers may not be seen in the DOS window during the compile.

-v > D:\software\EA Games\Mohaa\mohaa tools\og_bsp.txt

-v > D:\software\EA Games\Mohaa\mohaa tools\log_vis.txt

-final > D:\software\EA Games\Mohaa\mohaa tools\log_light.txt

what is wrong with this? when i open the console in mohaa it says amongst other stuff that it cant find maps\thegreatescape.bsp

game location D:\software\EA Games\MOHAA
compiler dir D:\software\EAGAME~1\Mohaa\main\maps
map source D:\software\EAGAME~1\Mohaa\main\maps

mohrad and mbuilder are in D:\software\EA Games\Mohaa\mohaa tools

The compilers are in MOHAATools, not main\maps.

Did you rename "MOHAATools" as "mohaa tools"?

The best way to get the correct path is to right click on one of the compilers (q3map.exe or MOHLight.exe) and look at properties. Then just highlight and copy the path (Ctrl+c to copy and Ctrl+v to paste).

You can do the same for map source (find your .map file), and for the game dir (MOHAA.exe).

To get the path to your desktop, right click on a desktop icon and copy the location.

yes i named the folder mohaa tools (D:\software\EA Games\Mohaa\mohaa tools) and the two exe's are in that folder, along with rad and mbuilder and the maps are in D:\software\EA Games\Mohaa\main\maps

all of my games/programs are on a seperate hdd from windows, just because the main hdd (C:) is only 60 gig and i was always formatting it every 6 months because it was too small for the games i have, so i got another hdd and used it for everything else
