it's not privately owned. but in the village next to ours there's where Vogt (produre of firebrigade stuff) has its HQ. And Mr. Vogt's the commandant... but he doesn't own the brigade

Huh, I thought the AG thing is something like GmbH, Inc. or Ltd. etc. and it indicates that it's a company of some sort.

AG = Aktiengesellschaft (stock corporation): The Vogt AG is a privately owned company, but the firebrigade isn't. Mr. Vogt just delivers trucks and stuff to the firebrigade, and he's also the commandant, but anybody could have that job
