I finally got a chance to download this one. Those lights are cool. Nice detail all over the place.
But I have to agree with the problems getting stuck. That was very annoying. The ledge is fine, It's just some of those boxes and other things are too close so you have to jump on the ledge to get around them. I was also getting stuck on some of the ramps leading out of the water.
This is a strange tech issue, but when I am in the water, the bullets don't make splashes when I shoot it. But on the ledge it works.
As far as FPS is concerned. I don't have a problem with it. But, I just upgraded to a 3.5 gig Amd 64 with an X800 XT radeon card. So I can basically run everything on MOHAA full blast at 1280 res.
However, since you guys say that all the coronas can affect FPS, why not make the cornonas a script object. Better yet, Make three script objects with alternating coronas. Then you can have the script animate them off and on. Then you only have 1/3 the number of coronas being drawn at one time. And people with really slow systems could edit the script and turn them off completely.
But it is easy to make suggestions when I don't have to do the work.
