.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

Make a folder on your desktop. Get winzip, trial version< if you don't have it. Open the pk files in the main or mainta. Don't know what game you are mapping for. I think it's in the pk0 set. You will be looking for something called a "screensaver". Thats the script files. Selet one of them, any-one, and go to the top where your options are and select extact. Extract it to the folder you put on your desk top. Exit winzip and reopen it. Go to open at the top. find your folder that you put the .scr file in, open it, hit the screensaver to highlight it, right click, add to zip file. I think it should now be in winzip window. right click, open with notepad. Make your changes........also, where it says something like scoreboardepic or something like that....type "none" between th ( ""). save the file. Exit note pad. Win zip will want to know if you want to overwrite, or something like that. say yes. When it's done, extract it back to your folder on the desktop.....say yes when prompted. Now, open up your map directory have it in a seperate window so you can see what you are doing. Theres three ways of doing this that I can think of. The simplist is highlighting your new script file and dragging it into the file your map is in. open your map and your scripting changes should be seen.
Before I forget......you have to name your script file.........mymap.scr..........whatever your map name is....and add .scr don't forget the dot.
If you have trouble let me know, I'm trying to do this from memory.....it's easier just sitting down and doing it.
also..When you make you first changes, don't try to script any thing...just put ypur name between the "" about 10 lines down from the top......just above that scoreboardepic thing. That way when you load your map and hit the tilde ~ key, you should see your name in the lower right....easiest way to see if what you did was right.....

That requires hardcore scripting. Very hard to do for many people... i myself have no idea what so ever on how to do that, im not good with taht kind of scripting, only simple things like moving objects, lights, and lasers lol

i dont think the 15cm cannon, 20mm flak,or howitzer have any firing animations

you could make them seem to be firing but there wud be no animation to it
