Try using suncolor 70 70 70. That is full daylight.

Set sundirection to 270 270 0.

I figured it out. It was something I was doing with the entity box. I was hitting enter and not hitting tab when going to the value field. So it thought I was entering nothing I guess. I knew it was something stupid. Thanks for all your guys help. This forum rox!
