Heya guys (and girls?),

New question - is it possible to make a "ping kicker" via script?
What would be the if expression?
The *.cfg maxping setting won't solve my prob.

It's probably better to start a new topic for something like that, but it doesn't really matter that much ;)

And i don't think it is, i dont believe ping isn't a value that's publicly available to scripts, it's pretty much shuffled around for scoreboard and server watcher's sakes.

However there are external programs that monitor ping with server queries, Counter-Intelligence has such a function i believe.

EDIT: You wouldn't happen to be a Clinton's Band fan would you? "When i go to Egypt i say sim sala bim..."?

No, i dont even know this band. I'm living in Germany. Thats why my english sux... ;)

So theres no way to query the ping thru script...? :(

Maybe jv_map has a hint. :)

Lizard is pretty much right, there is no way to retrieve player's ping or even name via script without an external program. :(
