Never got the compiler to work even after I reinstalled windows. Does it work on win98? Same error as before. (reinstalled the framework also)

If you installed the framework ok I would download the compiler again , uninstall the old one if it is installed and reinstall the compiler from the download. If that does not work I guess it won't work for you under win98 . It maybe that win98 is a 16 bit operating system so it is not compatable . I think you would be better of looking for an OEM copy of XP or Vista . OEM versions are cheaper than retail versions by far . I got a copy of Vista for $118 cnd should be less in the USA if that is where you are .

I am from the united states (Michigan actually) I am only thirteen so I cant just go by my own computer. I am going to be getting a new one sometime soon though. So I will retry the download and see if it works.

Looks like a definite improvement over Mbuilder, which I've grown somewhat attached to, but I can get either download to work. The first gives me the same password thing and the second gives an invalid file?
Also the image editing program The Gimp, has a very large help section regarding .net Framework.

I clicked on the second link just to try it and it I was able to get it to start downloading and eric has it so there is no way to contol what happens on the net . My site is back up so try that or wait I am planning to change hosts soon .

I got the invalid file error after I downloaded it. Hopefully there is something wrong rather than my computer not liking it.
