Ah did not see new post and was fixing to respond saying still can not get it to work but your last post ezplains it. Will try it. I am guessing exec after waittill spawn.

Well tried it again and still can not see the items ingame. I typed mdl static/sandbag_link_middle.tik in console. Even to make sure I typed it with the "".
Tried the printmdl 1 and it hung up the first time then changed some things around and got that to work at least and here is what it gives me in qconsole.

That's strange...

I tried it myself with the global/strings.scr file and it worked. There isn't much information printed, developer must be off. Could you turn developer on and record the entire session with the tool?

Also, "static/sandbag_link_middle.tik" does not exist, that's why it doesn't show. Don't you mean: "static/sandbag_link_main.tik"?

Arrgh sometimes I should read through the entire post saw the sandbag_link_main at bottom of your post just now SOR. Will go try that. I was messing up so bad yesterday that I copied and printed your instructions out and in one you had this so was trying it.

Was my bad because think I had posted it before even that post.
BTW, works like a charm now or at least can see models haven't went any farther then that yet. Time for some modding.
Update: WOW is all can I say once you get rolling on this script things go together nice and quick. This is what I am using from now on. Got alittle worried at printmdl though but checked qconsole before left game to make sure it printed. Here a SS of them and thanks.

I don't think it was this tool, but in one of my tools, a reminder gets printed after a while saying that you don't have to worry about the printing, the script'll take care of it.
So don't worry, I clear the logfile and make it ready for writing in the script!

It looks like you and maybe your server need a little fix. And I mean the strange lightning on those models and the megabytes of errors getting printed in the console. Most static models have problems with vertex lightning.

yeah it is spamming vertex alot. always thought there was not a fix for this. tried the .pk3 fix and still getting spam.
this is the only line it is spamming.

Really? It works perfectly here, are you sure no other file with shaders in it is overriding this fix?

nope, no other shaders unless there is one in custom map but my pk3 is last to load. just now put the the scripts file that was in that pk3 into my pk3 to see if that might change something. matter fact found some other vertex that didnt see earlier.

The shaders of what did you put in what??
Just take the custom map out for a while and test the fix. I'm sure there won't be any problems then.

I downloaded that fix. 1st I just put pk3 in server and restarted. Still got errors. Then I added some zzzzzz's to it to make it load last. Still errors. Then I opened up zzz_95thVertex_Fix.pk3 and took the script file that was in it and put in my pk3 that has my stock maps for the server. Still getting those errors.
Update: took all custom maps off and downloaded it again and put straight on to the server and restarted. Still no sound. So went back took everything out added jeez i forget whose single player maps with sound fix and tested. that worked put back on double zoom and still works. put back in my modded stock map pk3 and still works. Going to keep readding till I figure it out. Oh yeah instead of having 2 posts going. Going to say the vertex error did not come back up until I added my modded stock map pk3. So going to test the fix you gave me again now.

Do the elimination test. Take all custom files out of your main and temporarily place them somewhere else. Now put the fix in it. No doubt it will work. Then start adding 1/2 custom files at a time in your main and see if it still works.
If you keep doing this, you'll eventually get the file causing the problems.

Out posted me read one above. once you read then btw used that weapon fix just because didnt have maps in yours at it was already downloaded.

You are really confusing me! You are mixing the soundfix with the vertexfix...
pfff...
What should I answer where??
As for the soundfix, I can only conclude, all your Singleplayer maps do not execute the dmprecache. So go in all those mapscripts and add the following after waittill prespawn:
As for the vertexfix, then your 'modded stock map pk3' is the bad apple. Try to find out why it's causing the problems. Most likely because it has a shader file overriding the vertexfix.

Sorry about the confusion. K sound is fixed right now so that one can be closed. Vertex started back up when I put my modded stock maps back in. So I put in the fix and still am getting the vertex. Am I suppose to exec it somewhere or does it read on its own. If it suppose to read on its on. I have no clue whats up because I have deleted all customs and stripped the server down to bare minimum and my modded stock maps have no shaders in them. All the are pretty much are models and couple scripts. So I am lost. Again sorry for confusion.
P.S. copied and pasted all the pk3 files that i added to server to my mohaa/main and ran in LAN. Works great. So something about the server is not loading them.
