Well U came, U saw, U were from from USA and had 150 ping... But you did show some mad skillz, considering the ping! Guhte Shoss! ( I can't spell German, no need to point that out  ).

Hope you got some idea of how the map plays, even if the server was not packed, and some dudes had a less than chrystal understanding of the map architecture :D

Thanx, I like it!

But I had expected straight 10:s after such an agonising wait
About these misaligned textures you found... could you send me some screens of them? I was pretty shure there were none left  But I have not tried it in SH...

Thanx

the textures were for both sh and mohaa....as I said in the review it didnt have alot of weight in the review since there is some thing weird happening in alot a custom maps....

It would appear misaligned in the game and not in the Mohr...

Ill be back with screenshots.....Glad you liked the review :):):):):):)

I really liked the map :)

Here are some examples of the "misalignment" areas:

What does your Mohr show? Could be weird mohaa error...

This is the weird light mohaa problem....dont think it has anything to do with a mapping error....think its a error in the compile process.

These shots where in Mohaa btw :)

I suspected that that was the stuff you were talking about.

That is not misaligned textures, they are perfectly aligned actually.

The problem is the lighting settings... the -final settings produce these edges unfortunately... I had to choose between bad lighting quality and these lines in some places  and good lighting quality... these lighting errors are also present in the stock maps and seem to appear when there is little or no direct sunlight on the brushes...

Thanx for clearing that up!
/Bjarne

Review was updated based of the "texture misalignment" issue being cleared up :)

Its now 67% overall score.

Why 67? For a first map release I think that map is pretty cool.

BZR I have my own rating. Stars. And you get 8.5 out of 10 for a first map. (85% for you non math maticians  )

My scale is pretty funny...I have only givin out one 80% mark and thats like a 100% map. So you have to get an 8 in each area to get "my" perfect score. The areas that got 6 were above average imho. The areas that got 7 were great but nothing special.

Yes take into account that it was his first map it really should be 80% from me but I cant throw the score based on mapping seniority...

To get 67% from me is pretty good :)

So 8.5 out of 10 I would agree with :)
