Major update.

I was up untill 4am last night messing with the overall map lighting to see if I could infact get another atmosphere into the map. The end results I am happy to say, are perfect.

Me and Bruno decided to make 2 versions of Snowy Park, versus the previous one. First version being of all the pics we have shown you so far, and the second version being totally different.

I went back to the base map model and re-added new and more formal things in, versus the rain and explosions in the other version. This one is going to be more "clean" if you can call it that.

Not much has been done in the way of adding new things to this second version, but here are 2 screenshots I took this morning. The look I am going for is Bahnhof from Spearhead, so it should be interesting. Enjoy and post feedback if you want.

We plan on doing a whole map pack made up of all the modified stock maps, including the objective ones. Thinking about making some have an evening setting to set the mood. heh.

Thanks Rox.

Most likely not b/c that would involve adding waypoints and that would probably crash the game.

bot's can't be added unless you decompile and redo the map from scratch. All the changes are done in the .scr file so bots won't work on it.

Its all in scripting. Yes, easily spawning things, but we are trying to take it a step further and modify the map(s) like they haven't been before. I personally have spent countless hours testing scripts along with Bruno, so thats why we have been able to get some cool things going.

Its all easier said than done, but thats half of the fun.

yah - it's not too hard to do, but it's very time consuming making a change then testing, change then test and so on. I was going to do a few of these conversions a while ago but when i seen the ammount of time I'd have to put into it I gave up - lol. Better for those with more patience to work on them.
