If you want only 3 strikes make a variable like level.artystrikes then at the top of your script before you call the thread put level.artystrikes=0 then in your thread before the line goto artillery_fire put level.artystrikes++ and instead of goto artillery_fire put " if level.artystrikes<4 goto artillery_fire "

when level.artystrikes = 4 the thread will end

syntax

it would have to be:

if (level.artystrikes <= 4)

Name it:

artytest_precache.scr

You don't need to load it. The game will do that automattically, if it is in the same folder with artytest.bsp and artytest.scr .

You should reread the posts in this tread like I said earlier
When you are done save it as artillerymap.tik and add the line to your artillerymap_precache.scr "cache models/artillerymap.tik " all .tik's are in the models directory so put your tik in the models directory of your pak .
so add that line inside the quotes useing your tik's name into your precache .scr :wink:

It is a good idea too to reread the script a few times and see if you can understand the way the scripting is done so you can start scripting , its half the fun of mapping . :P
