Bad news for a lot of guys here (including me): Angelfire now have a new policy; they don't allow "file hosting sites" anymore...

Easy pease...
The'll just stop different file extensions. For example they'll only allow; .gif, .jpg, .html, .htm, .swf and so on... but no; .avi, .mov, .exe, .zip, .rar....
Sorry to hear that, get a new host, or host your on thing on a local server.
My website is on my computer (server), and its on 24/7, I cant have big files because then the bandwith will suck up all my computers power, but for small files its okay. I'll get a real host soon...

have you checked if your ISP provides a free web page yet... Most have a 20 mb free page they package with their internet service.

I've got comcast also - they have a 20 meg space you can use for personal web pages. no pop ups and from my experience good speed.

A note about freewebs:
They looks wonderfull; 100Mb, no ads, no popups, etc...But they allow only 50 files in your site. You know what 50 files means for a web design? Maybe you want a poor page w/ just some colors, or maybe you have just a few very big files (so you can use the 100Mb). Otherwise, avoid it. And they don't tell you about this "feauture".

Can you say, NOOBS!
The best host is
StagHost.
All they require is a text link on your index page back to their site, doens't havce to be big or anything, just a text link. You get PHP, MySQL, 100 mb of bandwith, 2 gigs of space, 50 emails acccounts, etc.
Just go
for their features.
It's all just $599 too! Pretty good eh? I mean, it's
free. I host my
my Michael Jackson site there!
