I would very much like to have someone try the map out, I don't have any server to run it on myself. A Swedish server would also be appreciated as I might be able to play is then as well.

And on another good note, more screens coming up. I'm compiling todays additions and will post screens as soon as I got them.

It is compiled for Spearhead, but I don't use any spearhead textures so it should be fairly easy to make a AA version. Just have to reinstall everything as AA wont run for me now for some reason. :-(

Screen shots part 2.

Well, here they come. The new screens shots.

The first two screens are from what's been added today and yesterday. The rest is a cavalcade of air ducts and other small passages in the complex.

Getting closer to a complete map with big leaps. :-)

The FPS is good enough i think. I run on a GeForce 4200 in 1200x1024 32 bits and default settings on the rest, and it is mostly up there at 96 and sometimes down around 60. There are around 2000 leaf portals with an average of 50 visible per leaf, so the vis is fairly efficient.

I will however add some manual leaf groups as the compile, in some areas, is not as optimal as i would want. The only thing I've noticed that could be a problem is that if you open up a door with a portal brush in it (the first time) there will be a short lag as the engine caches the models. I'm hoping this will be fixed by adding a precache.scr to the map.

It's so purty.

Seriously... very nice outdoor area and great work with the texturing and lighting.

Looks really really nice Roger, great job. Lots of detail, you must have spent some time making this. Nice one.

I think we started three or is it four week ago. So it's gone quite quick, but it is not so big this map. Maybe good for up to 16 players, no more. Slightly smaller than the V2 OBJ map.

Wow this is superb  Excellent work guys.

Did you really make this in four weeks? You must have worked over 24 hours a day :?

It looks so wonderful I love the map already

 F*ck!!! Managed to add the wrong .pk3 to the zip file. Hope I will be able to fix this today!!

OK, here is the map. It's just DM/TMD for now but it might be fun none the less.

Unfortunately I only hade the possibility to compile it for Spearhead. Sorry about that. It will be converted to AA as soon as I can, Hopefully within a couple of weeks. I only use two SH textures so it shouldn't be so hard. :-)

roger...would you like us to test this for you?

you mentioned some things regarding spawns and not being tested with numerous players.

Sounds to me this version is beta and needs some testing.

Let me know, maybe some time this weekend you can join the server and see for yourself.

We have a few guys that have already taken a quick glance, and they say it looks f'n great! FPS is great.
