Did you create a new PK3 file and store it in models> statweapons ?

Well I tried adding delete and it just crashes the game

, but adding this seems to work fine:
commanddelay 0.5 delete

Ok I didnt creat a new pak 3 file. I went in to pak0 and edited the Mg42 tik that was inthere....Do i need to creat a new Pk3 and place it in there..IF so please let me know. andi if i do what do i name the pk3 file and what do i name the file inside the pk3 i just created. is it a Tik or something else Thanks

RULE 1 of modding: DO NOT MODIFY AND OVER-WRITE ORIGINAL FILES.
Always make a new PK3 file and save the modified file in the original path you found it. So if you edited MG42 _Gun.tik, you MUST create a new PK3 and create a folder named Models go in to that and create another folder named Statweapons, then place your modified MG42_Gun.tik in the Statweapons.
You are creating these folders because this is the path they are stored in in the original PaK0.pk3. Dig?

ok what do i name the new pk3 file and what do i do with the original file...do i leave it there or do i need to put it some where else. I undestand that i should not mess with the orginal mg42_tik. But where do i put it so the game will use the new edited file that i will create and not the old mg42_tik.
Also, if i understand correcly i am suuposed to put the new pk file where the path the original mg42_tik is?

Name your pk3 user_noMG42.pk3
Put the PK3 in the Main folder. The modified MG42_Gun.tik will be read at loading by the game engine. Therefore the original will be ignored. No need to do anything with the original.
In the user_noMG42.pk3, you need 2 folders - models and inside of that, weapons. Then inside of weapons you put the modded MG42_Gun.tik.
Please take your time and read the instructions. I explained this before.

Well, Thank you so much for your help. I finally got it. I know it was hard to deal with me but i am new and just learning. You have taught me alot and i really appreciate it
