omniscient: it's not working... I tryed
seta g_3rdpersonview 1
seta cg_3rdpersonview 1
seta g_3rd_personview 1
seta cg_3rd_personview 1
and so on...nothing.
Bjarne BZR: your method works only if you have the new localization.txt in the global folder. If you make a pk3 and put it there, you will see that it's not working. But was a good tip anyway.
Thanks[/code]

...but if the pk3:s name comes after the original pk3 files name in alfabetical sorting... does it work then? Like: zTheName.pk3 ?

lol i said it wrong, sorry bud. its seta cg_3rd_person "1" either that or seta cg_3rd_person 1 just add em both. sorry about delay, have fun. also put cg_verticaldisplacement -18 so the crosshair is accurate, if u need a crosshair for some reason.

Thanks omniscient!!
Bjarne, I tryed user_screenshooters.pk3. "U" comes after "P" so I tryed a_screenshooters.pk3 . Same...only works if it is decompressed...

You will see soon. I'm about to release a map and I will use the mod...
In the meantime, I realize another "issue"...
When in OBJ game there's a d*** line says: "Waiting for players"

. I searched for this line but didn't found it. Is it together with the "Press Use(e) stuff" in some kind of "hidden script"?
Do somebody knows where is this d*** line?

i would guess the same place. if u really dont want it one thing u can do is put and allied/axis ai outside the actual map so its always going. kill them if everyone dies and stuff. more of a last resort kinda thing.

The Waiting For Players localization is in the localization.txt file in the pak6.pk3 global folder.
I would assume you can then use the same method Bjarne BZR showed you to take it out.

Yeah crunch, thanks! I didn't realize that there was another localization.txt around...I'm just a bit confused: how can be possible 2 files w/ the same name and "using" the same directory?, I mean, how can I make a pk3 and put both localization.txt in global folder??? Do the game reads only one of them?
I'm very..roll

The "Time Left:" line is indeed in the 2nd localization.txt (the one in pak6.pk3), but I can't find a way to make the game read it, once I already have a modified version of localization.txt (the one inside Pak0.pk3)...I even made 2 pk3 files but the 2nd localization.txt does not read.
Here's some shots of my new map:
From the OBJ:
Note that the d*** "Time Left:xx:xx", the "Waiting for players" and the "pre use(e)" are there...gr
From the DM (at least here it's only the'press use(e)' stuff):
Release (prob) 01/21/04
Cheers[
