I find it quicker to bend and hack stuff up with x or e button, tho I will save my work just before useing e , pressiong the space bar lots too. Tho I would be interested in seeing a tut from crunch.

For those who are interested, I made a small CSG Subtract Tutorial.
It is available HERE

If you feel there is anything I left out, please let me know.
I did this quickly showing the methods I use, that cause no problems.

BTW--it took me about 1/2 hour of constant weird subtraction to get that da*n infinite brush so I could get a screenshot!

I didn't read over the entire tut Crunch, but from what I read it is very useful. Also it informs the people that dislike CSG Subtract, that if done properly everything will go smoothly. Last but not least great job.

I agree, nice job crunch. I run CAD CAM at work and in working with solid models on the software I run, it deals with "subtraction" in an entirely different way (obveously). That's why I get discouraged when using it. I suppose after some getting used to it could be quite valuble in certain situations. :P

Well, it really was intended for beginning mappers to help alleviate problems.
Most advanced/familiar mappers already know what is in the tut, and for them, probobly is a waste of time.
It's basically just a list of do's and dont's, showing what to look for, and not intended to follow along by actually making what I did.
