what game engine is medal of honor, is it quake3??
what do we need the plugin for, to export it to .map??

I found an exporter for 3ds max. It exports in .map format.
So, I think I should be able to make something in max, then export it as a .map, then load it up and export it again as a .pfb. Correct me, If i am wrong. Oh ya, I found the exporter for max at.

Hmmm...... since Medal of Honor Allied Assault is modified from Quake 3, then the formats must be almost the same. Why don't you give it a shot?

I will give it a shot, I also found an export for gmax. The link is

It is number 8 on the list.
It also says "However to use the Map format export you'll also need Quake3 and QEradiant (see below). The map exported using this method may work with A5 or at least after you reinitialize them using an editor. However I never tested it."
I THINK IT IS A SELF INSTALLER PROGRAM, NOT TO SURE.

I hope you will create some cool stuff with it. be warned that it wont work on all objects, i tried a sphere and it said that it had too many sides to it. So test the limits before you make something totally great and cant export it.

Well you can add all plugins for 3dsmax in the plugins folder, just find where that folder is. But I must tell you, dont bother, I tried to add stuff but nothing worked. Sure you can save it as a map file but when u load it up in mohaa tools, alll u get is a box. no matter what you made.

you know how you got the box instead of a model???
well try compiling it and see what it looks like... i used a usably nebelwerfer from spearhead in mohaa and it showed up as a box in moh radiant but i compiled it and it worked fine except it just disappeared when you blew it up... hmm... oh well

Could Someone please try out the gmax one? If it works i might buy Quake3 just so i can make models for MOHAA. Otherwise it wont be worth it.

You only need a decent paint program.
I'd recommend Photoshop.
