Actually that thingy acts like a strap. You can hook it into your pants/belt and rest it there. Or I think you can hold it there to... Seems like that might be a bit unconfortable having a metal rod poking you in the hip...

ok, i might be a huge nooob at skinning/modelling, but how du you change a gun's position? im thinking fg42, i heard of a program called milk????? where can i get it so i can change the fg42's position so it rest's at the player's hands?
