imho u should make the sig very clear and observable.like mine in my map (canyon of death) .
a huge brush in the sky with ur name on it would be also cool.(a bit wierd though)

any form of modding a map then claiming it yours is copyright. I was only trying to suggest with a sig in your maps is a way of telling anyone that sticks a static object in your map then claiming they made the thing, would not have an arguement of rights.

Yep, I did not make it, I got the original map file from Flying Sheep and fixed errors and boosted FPS. Making a MOH:AA liberation out of it on the other hand is something I take a bit more personal pride in

The http://www.hustlasandhenchmen.com/ clan has not done anything after I asked them to change the loadindscreen, but the http://www.dwarfshouse.net/ clan immediately changed it and also added links to The Rjukan project

Cases like this are the only real reason I can see for HACKERS. Then you could hack into there server and cause non-damaging problems to make their gaming miserable until they comply. However I would never do such a thing, cause for one I'm too stupid and also you would be stooping to their level. I believe the only way to go about this is to spread the bad words as much as possible to try to stop others from playing with these creeps.

Well im not sure what is worse stealing...... Or cheating!

I was reading through RSoBB's forums and came across their HH thread which referenced this thread.

I helped HH start their clan and was an Admin. I was not, and am not a cheater, hence the reason I left HH.

They, Hustla and others, have publicly announced many times that they use non-recoil hacks, but I've seen evidence myself of some HH members using wallhacks. They were at one time announcing through Console that all hacks, except Landsharking, were acceptable on their server. I can't confirm this now even if I wanted to since they banned my family and I from their server, LOL.

There were a LOT of HH members that left right at the same time we did because of the cheating problems. [DC] GenDwarfInvader started his own server and a bunch of us are now claiming that as our new home.

I can't comment on the issue with the map other than to say that Hitler is a smart guy, so I'd doubt it was a "mistake" on their part not giving credit due to the map creator. Just my personal opinion and opinions are just like...well, you know. Take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I do realize that we downloaded a copy of the Canal map from the HH server, but honestly did not know that HH did not create this map. We were pissed and upset when we found out it was someone else' map and promptly removed the fake from our web site and downloaded the original when this was pointed out to us. We also made all [DC] Cr?e members get rid of the fake and download the original. Proper credit has been publicy given on our web site for the creators of this map.

PS- for my money, stealing is far worse then cheating. Both are dishonest to the extreme, but stealing not only effects others in the short term, but takes the hard work and sweat of another and detracts from that. Anyone who has even worked on a map knows well the effort that it takes.

Oh, I also like how Omaha is signed, even though you can see it in game.

I am currently taking the heat from the antics of [HH] after being featured in several fake videos showing me wallhacking. As you can imagine this is both an attack upon myself and those that associate themselves with me.

[HH] originally challenged us to a match and not knowing them, we accepted. Having then been massacred face down (and bearing in mind we had never been beaten on Breakthrough) we were sceptical and decided to do some checking.

Little did we realise the trouble this clan could cause if they wanted. They resorted to faking video's, posting messages on cheat sites in RSoBB's name and hosting huge offensive banners.

I agree that stealing another persons work and then passing it off as your own is worse than cheating. You are taking somebody elses efforts and claiming the glory which would be upsetting to say the least.

A little friendly advice if I may. [HH] are not making a good name for themselves and if I were you lot I'd leave them to it. the more they attack others the worse their reputation gets. In a world of gaming, where work is recognised, passion for the game is strong and players are regulars, the word soon spreads. We all know where Canal came from, everybody does.

stealing a map is wrong, but u cant get on their case for cheating guys. look at it this way if u like it cheating is fun, if u made the cheat its even better. its at their server, they can run it how ever they want. getting on their case for cheating is stupid, but stealing that map is pretty messed up, though the modder only has to change 1/3 of what ever tehy change and poof instant de-copywrite, u got nothin on em. i hope they change it hwne htey realise thatt they are getting a bad name. but i was in a clan just like that in cs. we went around purposly pissing ppl off, but we didnt deny hacking or any of that stuff. we were outright assholes and eager to admit it. its really fun if its a game u dont care about, like for me CS. i love MOHAA too much to do that here, but CS it was hella fun. anyway i say just let them be and see what happens.

Anyone and I mean ANYONE who has read and knows about the antics of HH should PUBLICALLY denounce them! Spread the word, descrate them! These immature people need to know that this is not acceptable!

Stealing is much worse, it involves atcually items. Cheating how ever is still very bad, don't get me wrong, but you won't go to jail for cheating on a meaningless game...

you wont go to jail for stealing a map either bud. there is no copywrite, they say in the readme its not theirs, and so far they havent done anything leagally wrong. and how can you say cheating is bad, i dont get it. its a different way of playing and it does help you get a lot better. i think cheating is another way to play, and if u dont like it leave me alone. Personally i dotn cheat, but if osmeone wants to what do i care? it doesnt hurt me, theres 1000's of servers out there, if one has a cheater, leave and go to another.

You come into thier house, and you break thier rules, causing damage to the situation that preceeded you. If you think not, then you have some maturing to do.

True but I was necessarily refering to stealing maps, although even though it wasn't copywrited (maybe you should consider that) it is still consider plagarism...

i got a great psychologist for you! lol jp but in all seriousness ppl will skill use cheats too. sometimes when ur bored its fun to do, especially if u made them. how can u even compare cheating to 2 something uber illegal (breaking and entering, disregard of the underage pornography law, character assassination etc) ur crazy. i agree the ones who talk sh*t all the time really need to cool off, but so do u man.
