oops, I always do that . I guess I should stop.

I am getting a similar error, except I do know what the error message says:

ERROR: No player spawn position named ''. Can't spawn player.

I have added two player starting points:

info -> player -> allies
info -> player -> axis

After that, I saved, compiled, and tried it. Any clues?

you also need:

info/player/start

Reason: When a player comes into a map, this is where the player starts, in spectate before they have chosen a team.
