lol, I was jsut trying to say that as far as 'keys to a good map goes' lighting is definately one of them... but ambient light doesnt have to be present, and isnt always the best solution.
It is important for a maps lighting to be thought of with as much care as its brush contruction and texturing. Everything works together to give a map its own unique character, and there is no one simple method of lighting a map to achieve perfection in each case.
