Please let there be weapon modifications so that it's just not reg weapons (with different skins...) in a paintball scene... id love to see actual gun-types made! Accurate single-shot pumps, not so accurate mass-clicking, and 5 round burst weapons. Justa few ideas ;)

But the one thing that would make it a good paintball wep mod, is to somehow give each ball a large decrease in bulletspeed so that you can (maybe) see the ball arch out of the gun... forcing you to lead your target.

Perhaps someone could encorporate a CTF map to this.. now that would be a great addition!

Yes, we have new models + anims being made, and also we are using projectiles instead of bullets, so yes, they will be affected by gravity, and also you willbe bable to see them, even doge them maybe :!:

CTF is on the way, and also maybe VIP mode (escort one of your team to a safe point, bla bla)

Now just to get some of this stuff made... :lol:

my problem was that the different parts of the bridge ought to sway differently (growing deflection from outer to inner planks) and this made the timing a bit tricky, the script bigger and bigger and finally the fps lower and lower... :(

well i know how to contribute to the recycle bin, but im talking about the mod. How to contribute map and scripts for the PBall mod... lol... BTW, i have something for you wacko =)

Making the bridge swing would be cool. I'm still only working on the map and then will do the scripts for it. I'll see what i can do with the knowledge i have and from the help i can get from here.

Also, if some people helps, i just hope they won't require to license it... :lol:

Just thinking about how a suspended bridge like this moves while walking on it, i do believe the script can become huge and maybe too much of a load to process, we'll see how it turns out. In the worst of the cases, it'll look less lifelike. :(

Thanx for replying to my out-dated ideas :wink: :lol: ... I cant wait to play it!

BTW, most likely another idea that has crossed your mind... I believe Half Life (or Counterstrike...arg.. cant quite remember!) had a Paintball mod made by some people... and it turned out VERY well. Perhaps model the game some-what off of that...

I'll see if i can contribute anything.. will there be a site dedicated to this mod?

Yeah, looks like fun. I've played a DigitalPaintball mod for Q2 for some time and it was great fun, even with that old engine. (But then again, the freedom of movement in Q2 is still unequalled.)

It is for CS, Digital Paintball - the maps kinda suck though :? But i saw this mod and thought, hey, we could add some good surreal maps...

We are also attempting to make another gametype or 2... :)

We are trying our best to make this mod as cool as possible... but you know the MoH: AA comunities response to mods :(

Ahh well, we are doing our best, and if ya wanna contribute, pop over to the AlterNation forums and contribute away :wink:

maps are kinda gay, but where did you get the idea it is for CS? No CS mod would get on planetquake.
